The Autumn has seen a welcome influx of orders for our well respected range
of Schechtl Power cnc Folding machines. The Motorised benders with their
powerful controller have found their niche in the market and clearly customers
are saying yes to their fast and versatile operation . The Autumn season has
seen matching pairs of 3 metre or 4 metre Folders with Matching shears
installed in Kent / Cambridge / Dorset / Cumbria and West Midlands and individual
machines in Yorkshire and Gwent. It is intersting to see how many start up
ventures are embracing the concept of the CNC folder for the advantages * it
obviously has . Whereas many of the established and houshold name companies
are still "getting by" with press brakes . It will be interesting to see over
time how the two fair and develop.
* ie workpiece stays flat rather than swinging up in the air - fatigue
element
thereby often rendering a two man operation to a one man operation
accuracy assisted by the flat workpiece concept
less need for costly specialised tooling
