Fully Customisable Line Configurations

Each Cut to Length line can be tailored to suit your production goals. The standard line build can incorporate various elements such as slitting heads, shears, straighteners, step pitch windows, offload carriages, pushers, trimmers, punch units, coil cars, recoilers, levelers, stackers, transfer units, and uncoilers. Equipment is arranged in-line for efficient flow and can be specified to suit mild, galvanised, or coated sheet materials.

Compact and High-Speed Options Available

Lines can be configured in compact loop feed formats or as separate straightening and feed units. Compact versions are ideal for thinner gauge or plastic-coated sheet, while heavy-duty versions offer line widths up to 1800 mm and minimum material thicknesses down to 0.4 mm. High-output options for up to 1 mm thick steel are also available. Guillotine shearing, edge trimming, tensioning, and intelligent folding can all be integrated for improved productivity.

Precision Engineered and Easy to Operate

Each Bulldog UK system is engineered to a high standard using a fabricated hollow box steel construction. All drive units are self-contained within the base frame. Drive is via chain transmission to bottom roll shafts only, and roll sets run in self-lubricating bearings with vertically adjustable stops. This ensures reliable, low-maintenance operation, even under high-volume workloads.

Advanced Control and Processing Features

Optional compact slitting heads can deliver up to 6 slits per pass, and adjustable recoil drives manage output tension. Guillotine units with programmable settings are available to suit various width and batch requirements. Automated folding stations can also be added to reduce manual labour and improve finishing quality. These lines are used across many industries for fast, accurate coil processing where both high speed and tight tolerances are required.
